Jonas Žakaitis
Jonas Žakaitis is a running coach and physiotherapist with a dual focus on performance development and injury prevention. He is a co-founder of Love Streams Running club and the FULLGAZZ youth athletics academy, and serves as head coach of the Lithuanian Triathlon Federation national team. His coaching spans from beginner runners to national champions, with a strong emphasis on long-term athlete development.
His approach integrates movement analysis, biomechanics, and structured physical preparation, with particular attention to running technique and load management. Jonas regularly pursues international training and mentorship, having completed placements at Arsenal FC’s physical preparation facility in London, the Prague School of Rehabilitation, the US Army Distance Project, NAZ Elite Academy in the US, and Lab Athletics in Belgium.
Through his combined clinical and coaching background, he specialises in bridging motor control, endurance capacity, and return-to-sport strategies for runners and endurance athletes. His work is grounded in both scientific principles and practical field application, supporting sustainable performance at all levels of sport.
